Diogo Mendes
A prominent figure on the music scene, he founded the Amanhecer Fado Group, achieving notoriety with an album and appearances in two monumental serenades. He was also a member of the Estudantina Universitária de Coimbra and has served as president of the Fado Section of the AAC - Academic Association of Coimbra.
With two solo albums - "Portefólio" and "Erudito" (supported by DGArtes) - he is a promising producer, composer and guitarist of Coimbra's Portuguese Guitar.
In 2018, he launched the Escola de Fado de Coimbra [Coimbra Fado School], with the first and only virtual course of Portuguese Guitar, in the Coimbra music genre.

Can I use a Lisbon Portuguese Guitar model?
Yes, you can use a Lisbon guitar to do the course.
It's preferable if the guitar is tuned to the Coimbra tuning, otherwise it will always be in a different tuning to the one in the videos - but the tablatures will still work without any problems.
